Here at Hitts Barton Trailers, we offer servicing and repairs on any trailers up to, and including, 3500kg. ​

The National Trailer and Towing Association recommended service intervals are:

• After the first 600 miles (1000 km) - essential for new trailers or if new brake linings and/or bowden cables are fitted.

• Every 3000 miles (5000 km) - three monthly for boat trailers that are immersed in water and commercial / industrial trailers with intensive usage, either by mileage towed or type of application.

• Every 6000 miles (10,000kms) - annually for caravans and leisure trailers.  Six monthly for commercial/industrial trailers - based on "average" use.

Our standard service includes a 38 point inspection of your trailer and all mechanical parts lubricated. We are fully qualified to carry out any repair work needed and will provide you with a quote before carrying out any additional work on your trailer.

Keeping your trailer in good working order will ensure you and your cargo's safety, as well as the safety of others.

Our onsite rate covers a radius of 15 miles from our base listed below, for any work outside of that area, please contact us.
